Adolescent Girls
Empowerment (EAG) Project
Through structured village-level groups for girls aged 10โ19, Lokpath works to strengthen education continuity, build leadership and life skills, improve health and nutrition awareness, and prevent child marriage.
A Comprehensive Approach to Girls' Empowerment
Strengthening school retention, reducing dropout risks at critical education stages, supporting re-enrolment, and building girls' confidence and aspirations for the future.
Building leadership, voice, and confidence through safe group platforms, peer learning, and structured life skills training that supports informed decision-making.
Improving awareness on menstrual health, anaemia prevention, balanced nutrition, and healthy practices โ enabling girls to stay healthy and attend school regularly.
Promoting awareness on girls' rights, gender equality, and social norms โ equipping girls to understand and assert their entitlements within their families and communities.
Preventing early marriage through community dialogue, family counselling, coordination with protection systems, and sustained engagement with parents and community leaders.
Connecting girls and families with schools, health facilities, government schemes, and support systems โ ensuring they can access services and entitlements effectively.
