About

Lokpath Charitable Trust, established in 2017 in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, is a dedicated nonprofit organization working to empower marginalized rural communities-especially adolescent girls, women, children, single women, and the elderly-to live with dignity, access their rights, and actively participate in building a just and peaceful society. The Trust currently operates in 25 villages across Mahoba and Jhansi districts, implementing impactful programs focused on adolescent leadership, climate-resilient farming, digital and financial literacy, mental health awareness, education, livelihood promotion, and gender justice.

So far, Lokpath has directly impacted over 2,500 families and more than 10,000 individuals through grassroots efforts such as forming adolescent girls’ groups, training women farmers, organizing health camps, providing career counseling, and running awareness campaigns on safe banking and the prevention of early marriage. In the coming years, the Trust plans to expand its reach to 10 additional villages in the bordering district of Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, thereby reaching more underserved communities.

With the support of reputed partners like the Azim Premji Foundation and local government departments, Lokpath Charitable Trust continues to deepen its presence in the most vulnerable regions of Bundelkhand and accelerate the process of positive social transformation.
